An announcement…

We are delighted to announce our final two acts for our forthcoming leaving ball.

The first, who will be opening the evening’s musical entertainment, is a man called Joel Bailey.  He is a One Man Band, singer songwriter from London, and describes himself thusly…
Joel Bailey…

…is a one man band based in London.

…won the 2010 Shure Songwriting Award.

…played the opening night of the Emerging Proms and alongside ‘La Clique’ at the Roundhouse.

…recorded an E.P. with producer Joe Fields (Amy MacDonald, Placebo).

…has featured on BBC London TV and radio, Amazing Tunes radio and in the Evening Standard.

…does a video blog from the bog called “The Toilet Tapes”

…was a ‘Busk Idol’ finalist.

…has had 2 Rough Trade Showcases.

…smells of old maps.

Check out his website for more information and get ready to be listening to him on the radio in the near future; this guy has got some serious talent!

Below is his latest single, and we are absolutely delighted to have such a gifted musician playing at our leaving ball.

The second is a brilliant cover band called The Shindigs.

The Shindigs are one of the most versatile cover bands around. Female & Male vocals combined with superb musicianship; they cover a breathtaking range of material spanning five decades of Rock, Pop, Funk, Soul Classics, along with a few choice surprises that will have you shouting “TUNE” before you know what’s happening! They have a great stage presence and are guaranteed to get all generations out of their seats and dancing the night away.  So excited for these guys to hit the stage, you can check them out here www.theshindigs.co.uk

With only 18 days to go until the main event, we hope you are all as excited as we are. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic night, and the perfect send off before our big journey begins.
Thanks for reading.
